Penticton’s Phyllis Nemrava is turning 100 years today.

Nemrava was born in Granmont, Que. in 1917, married in 1937 and lived at the coast for 47 years. She spent a year in Vernon before she moved to Athens Creek Retirement Lodge in Penticton and has been with them for four years.

Nemrava has been to Hawaii eight times, loves pasta and has one son, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
