École Entre-lacs needs your vote.

The Francophone public school is one of the top-10 finalists in the BCAA Play Here contest. Three of the finalists will win $100,000 each to build a new outdoor playground-study space.

To be one of those three, the school needs the community to show their support through online voting. Residents can vote four times daily via Facebook, Twitter, Google and/or by email.

Last September, Entre-Lacs moved into what was McNichol Middle School, which only has a small playground meant for middle school students.

Their plans are to build a new outdoor learning lab and a natural playground that would both be accessible to the public. Parents from the school community are urging Penticton residents to do their part, simply go online and cast their ballots supporting the Ecole Entre-Lac submission.
