Early berry harvest in the South Okanagan

Warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine are believed to be responsible for early ripening of some local crops.

Rai Produce of Osoyoos were among the first producers to have ripe cherries on the market thanks in part to the warm spring temperatures and plenty of sunshine. The cherries were reportedly ripe several weeks ahead of normal.
