Easter egg hunters, mark April 2 on your holiday calendar.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. LocoLanding Adventure Park is hosting its popular annual hunt, with proceeds to the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre.

“The OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre is once again so excited to be involved in a family event that welcomes young and old — and middle — to have fun together,” said Manisha Willis, executive director at OSNS. “The annual egg hunt put on by LocoLanding Adventures is not only a brilliant community event but also helps us raise awareness about the importance of early help for children who struggle with development. Many of our team will be on hand to help organize and join in the fun.”

There are actually two eggs hunts combined, at the park grounds and another onboard the SS Sicamous. There will also be a number of Easter activity and craft stations where kids can colour their own Easter frame and even make bunny ears.

With an early Easter and park renovations underway, LocoLanding’s other features will not be operating. Tickets for the hunt are $5 and can be purchased at LocoLanding on the day of the event.
