The Family Fun Night is being held on March 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Adidas Sportsplex.

“The Okanagan Breastfeeding Coalition is a non-profit organization whose members are mothers, health professionals and community leaders who believe that breastfeeding is important for the optimal health of mothers and babies,” said Erin Laverdure, treasurer for the Okanagan Breastfeeding Coalition. “This event will allow families from our community to come and have fun in a breastfeeding friendly environment.”

A carnival atmosphere is planned with bouncy castles, face painting, complimentary pizza and a chance to win raffle prizes and door prizes. All families are welcome, breastfeeding or not, and the cost is $10 per family or $5 per family if they bring a used breastfeeding book, baby carrier or breast pump.
