Get on the party loop bus this New Year’s Eve and make your way through the heart of Penticton, free of charge.

Those in the city looking to hop from one holiday-themed gathering to another at little to no cost are in luck, thanks to BC Transit’s free shuttle service tomorrow night (Dec. 31).

In partnership with the city, the provincial group is offering free transit for Penticton’s Route No. 15 until 2:30 a.m. and the party loop bus along Main Street and Skaha Lake Road until 3 a.m.

The party loop bus will open for service at 7 p.m. on Saturday and also cover parts of Westminster Avenue, Burnaby Avenue and Lakeshore Drive.

In a news release from Wednesday, Dec. 28, BC Transit said its regular Sunday service will also be operating on New Year’s Day across the South Okanagan-Similkameen.

Penticton is one of just eight areas in B.C. to get special transit service this New Year’s Eve.
