If you were wondering why the movie Onward was playing on a giant screen in the parking lot of the Wholesale Club in Penticton last night, it was for a charity event.

Interior Savings put on the movie under the stars and raised over $1,100 for BGC Okanagan, formerly known as the Okanagan Boys and Girls Club.

The funds will stay in the South Okanagan and support children and families who need us the most, said Interior Savings.

The event included concession food and the drive-in movie. The event sold out quickly and was limited to 50 vehicles in the parking lot of the Wholesale Club.

This is the only outdoor movie Interior Savings is doing in this area for 2021.
