BC Transit, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, the District of Summerland, the City of Penticton and the Town of Princeton are seeking input from residents to help identify transit priorities for the next five years.

These proposed improvements could be included in the 2022 South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit Future Action Plan, which will support transit decision making regarding service and infrastructure improvements.

A similar engagement took place in late 2021, but this happened during the onset of the Omnicron variant and severe weather events, both of which may have limited public participation.

Paper copies of the survey are being sent through the mail to residents in Summerland, Princeton, Kaleden, Okanagan Falls and West Bench. The paper surveys can be dropped off at the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen head office at 101 Martin Street or handed in to transit operators.

You can also fill out the survey online at engage.bctransit.com/southokanagan2022 until July 29.
