Keremeos’ Kars Under the K is set to make its return on August 1.

The 2021 date is being called the First Show after COVID, with registration forms already available.

The show is set to be the full affair, with the Keremeos Elks providing a pancake breakfast, free swimming, a bouncy castle and music from Thunder Alley Entertainment.

The Keremeos Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion #192 will be hosting a beverage garden outside the Legion as well.

In a letter sent to the Village Council with a request for a $500 grant, the organisers note that show brings in around 130 vehicles.

“We have Volunteers which are helping out from the Cawston Primary School (PAC), Keremeos Bell Ringers, Keremeos Senior Center and more,” reads the letter. “With the support and grants we receive, we are able to help out a few of the local organizations with their programs.”

At the time of printing, Keremeos’ June 21 council meeting had not yet begun.
