After two years, Miss Penticton has returned with a new crop of competitors for its 75th year.
The Miss Penticton debut was held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort on May 17 and introduced the four candidates; Kailyn Beaudoin, Miss Rotary Club; Hayden Anthony, Miss Firefighters Local 1399; Amy Clark, Miss Fraternal Order of Eagles #4281; and Autumn Lafferty, Miss Lions Club.
The evening served to introduce the candidates as well as their sponsors for the competition.
2022’s competition marks the 75th since Miss Penticton began in 1948.
Over the coming months, there will be plenty of training and practice to become the ambassadors for the city to other communities.
Pageant night will be on August 5, 2022, and include the candidates’ speeches, talents, and the coronation of 2022’s royalty team.

The pageant will be held at Cleland Theatre, and following the pageant, the Royalty will participate in the Grand Parade for Penticton’s Peachfest.
