The staff at Home Hardware auctioned off gifts at their Christmas party, which was then matched by the company to donate to the South Okanagan Women In Need Society.
Allen Wilson, yard operations manager, said a total of $2,500 was given to SOWINS. It is the second year in a row Home Hardware Penticton has done this.
“I really think it is great to see the community coming together to keep the whole community safe, we all play a role,” said SOWINS executive director Debbie Scarborough.
