Naramata Community Market opens Wednesday, June 2

Opening day will have food trucks, local entertainment, produce and artisans

The little community that does is excited to announce after a one-year hiatus, the Naramata Community Market is roaring back to life Wednesday, June 2 from 4 to 7 p.m with food trucks and more.

The market will be every Wednesday through to Sept. 29.

The Naramata Community Market will now be located at Manitou Park. The new location has more space, less wind, new bathrooms and lots of parking, plus two playgrounds to entertain the littlest shoppers. New hours ensure market-goers have time to shop (and dine) after work.

The inaugural market (June 2) will feature three food trucks: Samosa Express, Taste of Argentina, and Comfort Kitchen. This Wednesday Naramata Community Market is pleased to welcome the Cannery Brewery.

And cache your carbon. With the mid-week market, no grocery trip to town is required. Naramata Community Market has veggies and more veggies from local farmers Easy Earth Farm, Oxbow Flats Farms, Mariposa Organic Farm and Puzzlegrass Farm.

A Naramata Market would not be complete without local food faves including Chabendo Gelato, The Anticrust, CC Orchards, Desert Flower Honey, The Fruit Guy, Homestead Roastery and some brand new food artisans, Liv Artisanal, Dixie’s Quickles and Othello Bench.

Plus a lineup of artists and makers including Ebb and Flow Jewelry, Playlist Lavender, Lye of the Land, K-zip Knits, Laurel Jean Studios, Ron Crawford Designs, Sheryl Blois Glass and more.

If that is not enough, rumour has it there may be an appearance by local tarot legend Doug Mathias offering readings by donation.
