This fall, the Penticton Minor Hockey Association (PMHA) says it is turning over a new leaf.

Local youth will soon have new-look hockey sweaters to wear on the ice, as the PMHA gears up to unveil updated uniforms next month.

A 50/50 fundraiser has been launched in support of the branding update, and for the more than 250 minor hockey players set to benefit from it.

"A major update is a costly effort, involving ample volunteer time and significant funds," reads the fundraiser, which ends on Oct. 1.

"All of the teams and players will be touched by this sweeping replacement of the entire lineup of PMHA sweaters and socks, spurning from an update to the emblem that the PMHA emblazons on every player's sweater."

As of the morning of Sept. 27, more than 3,100 raffle tickets have been purchased.

The 50/50 fundraiser can be found here.
