The Okanagan Similkameen Parks Society (OSPS) is inviting members and the public to its annual general meeting on March 20.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. at Summerland’s Centre Stage Theatre.

The meeting also features a guest presenter, Michael Healey, professor emeritus at UBC. Healey will be speaking on a holistic approach to ecosystem management.

The board of directors for 2020 will be elected at the meeting, and the previous year’s financial statements will be presented for approval.

The meeting is free to attend, but donations are welcome.

The OSPS works to acquire and preserve parklands to preserve habitat for wildlife, and provide areas of recreation and education for the public.
