Penticton elementary school gifted with $2k from Kelowna construction company

Parkway Elementary School plans on using the money to expand its student services

An elementary school in Penticton is on its way to getting some new learning supplies, thanks to an unexpected gift from a company in Kelowna.

Parkway Elementary was the recipient of a recent $2,000 donation from Emil Anderson, a construction group in the Central Okanagan.

The school says the donation will allow student services to be expanded through the implementation of new programs and the purchasing of new supplies.
