It appears as though Tyrone Wooley's dream of owning a cream-coloured Mini Cooper will finally come true.

The Penticton man says his life "completely changed" when he recently discovered he was on the winning end of a lucrative prize from BCLC.

Wooley won $100,000 from a  Luxury Crossword Scratch & Win ticket, which he purchased at Canco on Government Street in Penticton.

“I thought, ‘this can’t be happening," he recalled. "I checked with my eyes first and then on my Lotto App to verify that it was real."

Wooley says he was eager to share the exciting news with others.

“I went on blabber-mouth mode," he said. "People were super happy for me."

With the money, Wooley says he plans on helping the people he loves and purchasing his dream car — a cream-coloured Mini Cooper with black racing stripes.

“This win will change my life completely,” he said.
