Penticton Rotary to host scotch tasting event

It will be an evening of pizza and scotch as the Rotary Club of Penticton Sunrise hosts its third annual Royal Scotch Tasting and Modern Hors d’oeuvres fundraiser.

The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the Penticton Golf and Country Club.

It features MC Martin Lewis and co-hosts Garry Gratton and Barry Reid. It is limited to 100 guests.

The evening begins with haggis pizza and a glass of scotch, followed by tastings of five brands of scotch, complimented by hand-crafted hors d’oeuvres.

The event also includes a silent auction featuring gourmet treats and Okanagan wines and spirits. A live auction is also included.

Tickets are $60 and are available from fundraising director Jim Dunlop at CIBC Wood Gundy, 399 Main St., Penticton.
