Hundreds of people in Penticton are doing some last-minute Christmas shopping at Cherry Lane Mall this weekend to mark the year’s last farmers’ market.
A total of 40 vendors are set up from one end of the mall to the other, hoping to help buyers find that perfect locally bought Christmas gift during the Penticton Farmers’ Market.
Many of the vendors in attendance this weekend are the same ones that can be seen all summer long every Saturday on Penticton’s Main Street.
Farmers have come with produce, canning and jellies while several unique artisans, bakers and makers also have their tables open for business all weekend long.
Sunday is the last chance people have to experience the market this year.
Festivities run from 12 to 5 p.m.
