Queen’s Park Elementary School is one of the recipients of support from the Okanagan YMCA and Interior Savings.

Through the bank’s Community Investment Fund, the YMCA was able to purchase play equipment and support their Family Play Time and Child Care programs.

“Our terrific partners at Interior Savings are also helping us to improve four of our child care centres with the purchase of long-lasting outdoor educational materials and learning tools, extending the classrooms to create safe, natural playscapes for over 500 children each year. We truly couldn’t be more grateful for their commitment,” said Danielle Miranda, general manager of child care for the YMCA.

Okanagan College’s Little Scholars program, Kelowna Secondary School’s Young Parents Program and the new Dilworth Mountain Child Care Centre are also receiving investment and support.
