Give yourself some extra time if you are coming into Penticton from Summerland.
Road work has Highway 97 backed up past Sage Mesa Road outside of Penticton.

Construction work is being done near Riverside Drive at the bridge over the channel and traffic has been reduced to a single southbound lane.
It not known how long the road work will be going on for.
