The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen has scheduled a second electronic townhall on Jan. 27 to discuss Kaleden’s Sickle Point.
The first townhall on Jan. 13 made it through most of the session before technical issues cut it short.
The second townhall will run from 7 to 8 p.m.

Residents can view the townhall on the RDOS youtube channel, and participate by going to rdos.webex.com with meeting number 146 584 3334 and password RD@S. Residents can also participate by phoning via the toll-free number 1-833-311-4101.
If 10 per cent of the qualified electors in the Kaleden Recreation Programming and Facility Maintenance Service area that are being asked to pay for the loan oppose it, the alternative approval process will not go through.
That area includes Kaleden, Twin Lakes and St. Andrews.

Residents who wish to oppose the alternative approval of the borrowing bylaw can do so with forms for providing notice of opposition.
The forms are available online at RDOS.bc.ca or by emailing, faxing or mailing the RDOS, and the originals must be signed and either mailed or dropped off at the RDOS office. Copies will not be accepted.
