Skills upgrading for emergency responders

Members of the Penticton Fire Rescue were busy with their regular skills and training exercises at the Number 2 hall.

Penticton firefighter Graham Vujcich directs the movement of a basket carrying a 'victim' which is attached to one of the ladder trucks during a training session at the Number 2 hall recently. The work is part of the on-going skills program conducted by the department members. Firefighters take turns at the different roles using a wide variety of scenarios they could encounter during their regular course of duties.
