The South Okanagan Similkameen Volunteer Centre is hosting a holiday season auction until Dec. 1.

The proceeds from the auction support the Centre’s programs to inform residents of where volunteers are needed and promoting volunteerism and its benefits to the community.

Highlights from the auction including a day at the track at Area 27, a performance by the Okanagan Youth Pipe Band, and tickets for a ride on six of the highest freestyle ziplines in Canada.

The Penticton Fire Department donated rides to work or school in one of their fire trucks, the Mayor has donated a lunch for up to four people with him and the South Okanagan Events Centre has donated two tickets to the upcoming Alice Cooper show in April.

Weekend passes to Jazzfest, family ticket packs for the Scottish Festival, and even bagpipe lessons are some of the other items up for bidding.
