South Okanagan Women In Need Society (SOWINS) will be offering a series of mini-workshops for women in the Penticton area.

Cook a tasty meal and explore ways to stretch your grocery dollar with the first class of the series “Cooking on a budget” class Thursday, March 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Join the SOWINS to prepare budget-friendly, nutritious food. Share in a discussion and a meal.

Simple cooking. Simply delicious,” said the organizers of the event.

All participants will receive a take home meal kit.

The workshops cover a wide variety of personal development topics designed to promote health and well-being. Learn how to deal with stress more effectively, build healthy relationships, and make decisions that work for your life.

Workshops run every third Thursday morning. Spaces are limited, so sign-up early for the workshop of your choice.
