The Penticton’s Wednesday Night Ladies Club donated $1,000 to the South Okanagan Women In Need Society.
The Wednesday Night Ladies Club was formed more than 20 years ago at the Penticton Golf and Country Club. Every year, the club selects a local non-profit to recieve funds raised from local businesses. This year, the group selected SOWINS as the recipient for their donation.
The money SOWINS receives from groups like the Wednesday Night Ladies Club goes to support their Transition House and other programs to support local women in need.
