If you thought you saw the Lake-to-Lake Bike Route taken over by ghosts, goblins, scary clowns and more, you eyes weren’t playing tricks on you Friday night.

The Penticton and Area Cycling Association held their ‘Spooktacular’ bike ride through Penticton bike lanes (Oct. 28).

Cyclists rode along Penticton’s newest completed section of the bike lane starting at the library.

There is plenty of places to get in the Halloween mood this weekend, from the Zombie laser tag at Slack Alley Saturday and Sunday behind Slackwater Brewing to singing along to the Rocky Horror Picture show at Highway 97.

Highway 97 Brewing hosts musician Mason Burns for a Rocky Horror Picture-themed show.

Music, written especially for the occasion, as well as cocktails and prizes headline the night.

Doors open at 6 p.m.

“Never sleep again” after a walk through the Wildhorse Mountain Ranch in Summerland all weekend long.

The ranch hosts a Halloween-themed event, with a portion of the proceeds set to go to the South Okanagan Children’s Charity.

The “bring your kids walk” goes from 4 to 6 p.m., with the “never sleep again walk” scheduled for 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
