Tons of free stuff to do this B.C. Day in Penticton

Events kick off in Gyro Park at 11 a.m. and include singing, dancing and bouncing

The community can celebrate B.C. Day on Sunday at the family party being held in Gyro Park in Penticton.

A day full of free activities, including things for kids, food and market vendors will all be on hand.

The celebration begins at 11 a.m. with an opening ceremonies and then James Hogan will take the stage at 11:10 a.m. Different entertainment will follow every half hour with Jake Evans and the Jedi Dance Troupe and a free hip hop class, Bahiti Belly Dance, Nikita and the Bluffs, Oceans & Lights, Get Bent Belly Dance and Fluxx will end the day off with a set from 4 to 5 p.m.

Free family activities include a bouncy castle, climbing wall, hip hop dance lesson, henna temporary tattoos and kids crafts.
