Tourism Penticton had a fantastic response to their Escapes and Landscapes Photography Contest with over 130 entries.

“It was a difficult decision, but after much deliberation we selected the three prize winning entries," said Jo Charnock, marketing and media co-ordinator with Tourism Penticton. "We want to assure all of the other entrants that their images will still be used for marketing and promotional pieces and photographers will receive recognition wherever possible.”

Tourism Penticton thanks all of the participants for providing such beautiful images which will help them to highlight the wonderful features that Penticton & Wine Country has to offer.

The first place winner is Doug Cox, second place is Bruce Gartrell and third place is Chris Cornett.

Tourism Penticton will be hosting a formal prize presentation on Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. at the Visitors Centre on Vees Drive.

“We want to take the opportunity to personally thank and reward our contest winners.  It was a tough competition and the winners deserve to be formally recognised for their extraordinary talents," said Kelly Hopkins, executive director of Tourism Penticton.
