Toys galore at Penticton Secondary’s Toys for Tots to Teens drive thru

Santa, Grinch and plenty of merry students are taking donations of toys and gifts today

It is a festive feel at Penticton Secondary with Christmas tunes, hot chocolate, Santa and students collecting hundreds of toys at the annual Penticton Provides Toys for Tots to Teens drive thru event taking place Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

By 8:30 a.m. hundreds of toys had been collected while vehicles drove in.

Donators were offered hot chocolate and a breakfast bar and plenty of cheer from the enthusiastic students doing all the work.

Students decided to not offer a breakfast this year and instead donated that money to help communities affected by the floods.
