Heather Pescada, organizer of the event, has organized holiday lights contests in the past. This year, however, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, she chose the lights quest with riddles.
“Since we are supposed to be staying safe and away from others, I thought this would be some thing fun and cheerful for people to do with their family,” she said.
She added that the quest is a way to discover some of the displays that might otherwise go unnoticed in the neighbourhood.
“Trout Creek has so many beautiful light displays and some are hidden gems at dead end streets that most people miss. This way people can have fun figuring out the riddles and all great homes will be seen.”
