Santa Claus is ready to reunite with one of his teammates in Penticton.

OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre announced on Thursday afternoon that they are once again hosting virtual Santa this holiday season at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre.

Hence the title, virtual Santa, visits will happen via Zoom at the mall on Dec. 6-10 and on Dec. 13-14 and 16-17.

“Santa was hopeful he could do a traditional in-person visit at Cherry Lane in Penticton but after much consideration and with the desire to keep everyone safe, Santa and the OSNS Child & Youth Development Centre determined Zoom visits would be the safest option once again,” the centre said.

Visits with Santa are one-on-one and cost $20, with 100 per cent of the proceeds going back to OSNS.

The non-profit organization also added that the virtual visits can be personalized through online registration with the OSNS Child and Youth Development Centre.

Last year in Penticton, Santa was seen walking around the city in early November. This time around though, his appearance in the Peach City is much more timely, as hosted by OSNS.

To book a one-on-one virtual visit with Santa, the centre asks that you visit osns.org
