The estimated cost of the improvement work is around $90,000 U.S.
The Summerland Rotary Club is now working on fundraising fort the project and needs to raise around $52,000 for this work, said Aart Dronkers, director of international projects for the Summerland Rotary Club.
He added that this works out to $45 per child at the 1,200-student school.
“Whether you are an individual contributor, a Rotarian or an employee/volunteer of another organization, please consider to donate,” he said. “You will have a significant impact on many children, now and in the future.”
