In The Sequel, Jack has just proposed to Milly.
As their excitement and emotion and fond embrace slides into the new reality Milly wants to plan the rest of their lives together. Jack did not plan for this, and he fumbles with his words in attempt to keep Milly interested in him. It becomes clear that the two are not compatible.
He Said and She Said features a living room parlour in the 1920s.
The theme is timeless - that gossip is unexcused, and will suffer sudden calamity - a cautionary tale that urges us to stay out of gossipers' company and not partake of their actions.
