Photos: Glass half full kind of day at Half Corked Marathon in Oliver

A couple hundred crazy costumed runners tasted their way through Oliver’s vineyards Saturday

Half Corked Marathon - it’s all in the name.

A couple hundred crazy costumed marathoners ran and swerved over 20 kilometres through the vines and orchards of Oliver, tasting at 20 different outdoor wine stations for the annual Half Corked Marathon.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect as Saturday was one of the nicest days so far of 2022.

At the finish line there was the after party with dancing, more drinking and eating.

Royal LePage South Country Realty were lucky enough to do the costume judging of which there were so many good ones to choose from the Time Warp crew, a group who created vests made out of corks, the Super Mario crew, plenty of 80s outfits and tutus, jesters and everything in between.

Many danced the day away to the sweet sounds of Rebel Luv.
