The annual Penticton Kiwanis Music, Dance and Speech Arts Festival complements and enhances the learning/teaching process.

It provides an opportunity for students to perform their music, speech arts and dance achievements and to receive a constructive, meaningful evaluation of their performances. In doing so, the festival aims to foster and promote a lifelong interest and appreciation for music, dance and speech arts.

The festival also features a dance highlights gala concert which takes place on April 28 at the Cleland Theatre (325 Power St.) at 7 p.m. The music and speech arts highlights concert is on April 29 at 7 p.m., also at the Cleland.

Tickets for the highlights concerts are $10 each of a family pass of four tickets for $30. Tickets are available in advance at the festival venues, during competition, or at the Leir House in Room 2. Call 250-493-8322 to reserve.
