Joey “Shitthead” Keithley and the rest of D.O.A rocked out to a full house at Slackwater Brewing in downtown Penticton Thursday night.
Slackwater’s Liam Peyton described the experience as ‘wild’ with local band The Flannel Contract opening for DOA and ‘blowing the roof off.’ The fans couldn’t haven’t been more awesome as well, said Peyton.
D.O.A. is Canada’s oldest and longest running punk bands known for its outspoken political opinions on the environment and anti-racism. They have a history of performing for many causes and benefits.
As for what D.O.A. thought of the Penticton crowd?
“They had a blast,” said Peyton.
Slackwater Brewing has been bringing several sold out shows to its stage and has no plans on stopping.
There is a Shania cover band next week, Metallica cover band coming in July as well as The Steadies, Hip Replacements and more.
