Theatre students from Penticton Secondary School will have their chance to shine in front of the whole community later this spring.

From June 1 to 3, students will perform the musical production Mamma Mia at Penticton’s Cleland Theatre.

The musical, based on the songs of Swedish pop group ABBA, was chosen as the school’s final production for 2022.

Tickets are $15, said the school’s theatre teacher Andrew Knudsen.

People interested in attending the early-June musical showcase can purchase tickets at Pen High’s accounting office.

Students from the city’s other high school, Princess Margaret Secondary, performed Mamma Mia for the Cleland Theatre crowd in January of 2019.
