The show will go on at Oliver’s Venables Theatre; just not for the next two weeks.

Following the announcement of additional restrictions in the province by Dr. Bonnie Henry on Nov. 19, the theatre will be postponing two of their upcoming shows.

Kristi Neumann, who was scheduled to perform on Nov. 27, and Great White North, who were scheduled to perform on Dec. 5, will both be postponed until 2021.

Mike Delamont’s Socially Distanced stand-up comedy tour, scheduled for Nov. 28, will be cancelled.

The theatre kicked off their Venables Alive concert series in October, featuring local artists from across the Okanagan.

Tickets for the two postponed shows will be rolled over to the new dates, with refunds available on request.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for the ticket holders,” said Leah Foreman, the theatre manager.

If the restrictions continue at their current level beyond the next two weeks, the theatre will assess what will happen with their upcoming shows.
