April 7 — Bill Bourne comes to the Dream Café. Premium tickets $39, wing seating $24.

April 8 — Weezer plays the South Okanagan Events Centre.

April 8 — Penticton Academy of Music presents the Penticton Youth Choir with special guests, the Okanagan Children’s Choir from Kelowna and the Summerland Children’s Choir. Performance of Spring Chorus at 4 p.m. at St. Saviour’s Church, 150 Orchard St. Penticton.

April 8 — Concerto for 2 Cellos featuring brother-sister duo Arnold and Estelle Choi at the Cleland Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets $56.25 for adults, $49 for seniors and $26.75 for youth.

April 10 — City and Colour comes to the Cleland Theatre.

April 13 — Jazz at Zia’s in Summerland featuring The Allan Crossley Jazz Quartet starting at 7p.m. Cover charge is $10. For reservations call 250-494-1105.

April 21 — Winnipeg’s roots and blues powerhouse singer Patrick Alexandre comes to the DreamCafé.

April 23 — Canadian folk singer-songwriter Oliver Swain comes to the Craft Corner Kitchen.

Events

April 6 to 29 — Many Hats Theatre presents Self-Help by Dummiez opening April 6 and running until April 29. Performances Thursdays, Fridays at Saturdays at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets at The Nest and Nectar.

April 7 and 8 — The Okanagan Fest of Ale comes to the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for two days of beer-filled fun.

April 15 — Local Pentictonite Marge Johnson celebrates the launch of her book One Day at a Time at Penticton Gifts and Antiques, 455 Main St. Penticton. Complimentary cake and coffee and a special book launch price.
