Visit Santa through his igloo in Osoyoos

Proceeds from visits with Santa go to local charities

This is your last chance to visit Santa in-person at Junction 3 Coffee House in Osoyoos.

Every weekend in December, Santa has set up shop in a festive igloo at Junction 3 between 5:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.

For 20 pre-booked minutes, you can visit with Santa through the igloo and tell him just how good you’ve been this year, and of course, let him know about everything on your wish list. Bring your own camera to capture this unique 2020 Santa experience. It will surely go down in the history books.

People have been loving the in person experience, said owner Sara Van Der Hoeven.

Most Santa visits have had to go virtual this year but most of us want to see and hear the real Santa in person. Van Der Hoeven thought about how she could use her igloos to bring Santa to kids safely. The idea was an instant success, she said.

Santa in turn, gets to sip some yummy coffee and visit with lots of kids and kids at heart.

And the whole experience goes to help local charities.

Visits with Santa are by donation with all proceeds being divided equally between Desert Valley Hospice Society, Osoyoos Food Bank and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The coffee shop will be open, so visit at the window and order your favourite holiday drink and treats. Families can pre-order Christmas cupcakes.

This is a COVID-friendly event with a COVID safety plan in place. You must reserve ahead of time by emailing junction3coffeehouse@gmail.com.
