The Gord Bamford #Rednek Music Fest has been rescheduled after it was cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The concert has been moved to Oct. 23 and will be held at the Penticton trade and Convention Centre.
Along with Bamford, the #Rednek Music Fest will feature JUNO Award winner Jess Moskaluke, Andrew Hyatt, Cory Marks, Duane Steele, Eric Ethridge, Ghost Boy and JoJo Mason.
The show was previously scheduled for March 27 at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC) but was postponed in response to COVID-19 and the provincial government’s prohibiting of gatherings larger than 250 people, which has since been lowered to 50 people.
All tickets purchased for the previous date will be honoured at the new date and venue. The concert will now be held in a standing room, general admission setting at the Penticton trade and Convention Centre as opposed to a seated, arena setting at the SOEC.
Because of the date change and switch to general admission, refunds are available by contacting the Valley First Box Office at 250-276-2144 or by email at email@example.com.
The Valley First Box Office at the SOEC is closed to the public until April 6 as part of the City of Penticton’s closures.
