Wanted man facing multiple dangerous driving charges in Keremeos and Cawston

A man facing charges over five separate instances behind the wheel in Keremeos and Cawston now has a warrant out for his arrest. 

Alf Douglas Odinson, born in 1982, is facing a total of five charges of driving while prohibited/with a suspended license, three charges of dangerous operation of a conveyance, two charges of flight from police, and one charge of breach of a release order. 

The alleged incidents took place starting in July 2022, then September, twice in October 2022, and in January of 2023 in either Keremeos or Cawston. 

According to court records the first incident of driving while prohibited went to trial and resulted in a guilty verdict on Nov. 30, 2023. 

A warrant for Odinson was issued in Penticton's Court on Nov. 12 following what was scheduled to fix a date for his next appearance. 

According to court records, this is not the first time that a warrant was issued by the courts for Odinson, with warrants issued as recently as February of 2024. 

In April of 2023, a warrant was issued, and after being taken into custody he was released on $1,500 bail. 

He was most recently released on Aug. 28, after posting a $5,000 bail.
