After reading many letters over the last while about the traffic on Eastside Road, I thought I would add my two cents worth. I travel that road four times a week to golf in Oliver and I use it because traffic moves at a slower pace and I can enjoy the postcard views all the way.
There are a few idiots on the road, now and again, but, I merely pull over and let them go. This time of year, I expect to see many bikes and runners on the road and always give them a thumbs-up because I admire their spirit. So, my message is, slow down and enjoy the magnificent views and don’t be in such a hurry.
