LETTERS: Winter drivers, please fix your tail lights

While road conditions are poor, one reader calls on drivers to make sure their vehicles are visible

It is appalling the number of vehicles on the roads with defective or no headlights, tail lights and brake lights.

If the police stopped them for that one reason alone, I am sure other defects would be noted such as poor brakes, no emergency brakes, etc.
