Jazzing it up at the Shatford

Once, it was a place of quiet and serenity, but Penticton’s old school library, located in the Shatford building was buzzing Saturday night as the high school’s music department took over for their annual fundraising concert.

Once, it was a place of quiet and serenity, but Penticton’s old school library, located in the Shatford building was buzzing Saturday night as the high school’s music department took over for their annual fundraising concert.

Left behind when the school was rebuilt, the Shatford is on its way to being converted to an arts and culture centre, including returning the library to its original purpose as a recital hall.
