Warren Seann Hooley, (a.k.a Abrupt) an independent music producer and native of Penticton, youth leader and professional artist, is taking the National Professional Artist Training Program at the En’owkin Centre in Penticton.

Warren Seann Hooley, (a.k.a Abrupt) an independent music producer and native of Penticton,  youth leader and professional artist, is taking the National Professional Artist Training Program at the En’owkin Centre in Penticton.

At 6 p.m. tonight Hooley will be presenting his latest speech, Pshhh! Rap Isn’t Art! at the Penticton Indian Band Hall.

Hooley writes and composes all his lyrics fusing positive messages with addictive melodies and catchy hooks.

He’ll be following the speech with a collaborative performance with 11-year-old Austin George (a.k.a. Kid Kong), performing their latest hit song, Follow the Leader.

The evening starts with a dinner reception at 5 p.m. before Hooley takes to the stage.
