Shaking down the SOEC

Safe In Sound music festival is coming to the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton this fall

Safe In Sound music festival is coming to the South Okanagan Events Centre this fall on a 20 city tour thorough September and October, setting a new standard for bass music presentation.

Getting those bass-bins and stacks rattling on Safe In Sound will be some of the biggest names to emerge from the bass scene, including Caked Up, Destroid (Excision’s Super Group), Doctor P, Flux Pavlion, and Terravita.

Safe In Sound Festival will take over amphitheaters, arenas, ballrooms and various outdoor venues on the tour, arriving in Penticton on Thanksgiving weekend for an Oct. 12 concert at 7 p.m.

This event will also be something of a homecoming for Okanagan Valley natives Excision and Downlink, two of the performers behind Destroid, along with KJ Sawka.

PK Sound is already known for providing systems for Skrillex’s FullFlex Express tour, Excision’s Executioner tour and the Shambhala Music Festival.  With a brand new 150,000 watt rig debuting on the Safe in Sound Festival, PK promises to have built the most powerful touring sound system ever used for an EDM tour.
