It’s a jammed-packed weekend of things to do and see in Penticton.

Vancouver band plays the Dream Cafe (Oct. 20)
Surf instrumental mixed with a rockabilly slapback comes to the Dream Cafe stage on Friday night.
Joe Rotundo and the Interstellar Riders start rocking at 8 p.m. and tickets can be purchased here.

Penti-Con Pop Culture Festival (Oct. 21 to 22)
A celebration of everything pop culture hits the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Saturday and Sunday.
This year’s edition of the Penti-Con Pop Culture Festival, with presentations, games and cosplay among the headliners.
Tickets can be purchased at the door and cost $23 for adults and $14.50 for youth, and free for kids 12 and under.

Vees return home after sweeping Kootenay road trip (Oct. 21)
The Penticton Vees welcome the Merritt Centennials to the South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday night.
Puck drop is at 6 p.m. and tickets can be purchased here.

‘Randy’s Cheeseburger Picnic’ brings out the laughs (Oct. 21)
Randy from the Trailer Park Boys brings his Cheeseburger Picnic tour to Highway 97 Brewing in Penticton on Saturday night.

Celebrate salmon at Penticton open house (Oct. 22)
The Okanagan Similkameen Conservation Alliance (OSCA) and the Okanagan Nation Alliance are hosting a “Celebrate Our Salmon” open house in Penticton on Sunday.
The event runs from 1 to 3 p.m., at the Okanagan River Channel on both sides of the dam located just south of Okanagan Lake. Parking will be available at the Loco Landing parking lot on 75 Riverside Drive.

Culinary adventure in Penticton (Oct. 20 to 22)
Get a taste of downtown Penticton this weekend, as several restaurants and breweries participate in the launch of a new event that celebrates everything local.
Special deals and live music will be showcased at downtown locations through Sunday.
Festivities are organized by the Downtown Penticton Business Improvement Association (DPBIA).
