Reel Youth to be screened for free at Shatford Centre

The Shatford Centre is hosting a free screening of the Reel Youth Film Festival on Thursday in Penticton.

The festival includes 19 films directed by youth this year, selected by an international youth jury out of over 1,300 submissions from more than 100 countries. A diverse range of backgrounds and identities, from youth in Canada to Iran, Lithuania, South Korea and India, offer insight into the way the next generation sees in the world around them.

The free screening begins at 7 p.m. and runs until 9:30 p.m. on Oct 10. at 760 Main St. The screening will also highlight local filmmakers and their films.
