When Ice Cube goes straight into B.C. next year, he’ll be making a stop in Penticton.

The award-winning musician, actor and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee from 2016 brings his “Straight into Canada” tour to the South Okanagan Events Centre on Feb. 21, 2024.

As part of the legendary California hip-hop group N.W.A in the 1980s, Ice Cube penned lyrics on songs like “Straight Outta Compton”, among others.

He has since sold more than 10 million records as a solo recording artist, while also starring in movies like ‘Are We There Yet?’ and appeared in the 21 Jump Street franchise.

Ice Cube will be joined on the Penticton stage by DJ Kav, who will serve as the show’s guest.

In December 2018, ‘Cube’ released his first solo album in eight years.

Titled ‘Everythang’s Corrupt,’ the record serves as the artist’s 10th solo album and 18th overall in his discography.

Tickets for Ice Cube’s show in Penticton go on sale Friday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m, and can be purchased on valleyfirsttix.com or in-person at the SOEC box office.

As of Tuesday, Nov. 7, Ice Cube’s only other B.C. show on the winter tour is set for Abbotsford.
